WesternX, a subsidiary of Metal Bank, has submitted a mining lease application for the Kingsley gold deposit in Western Australia. The deposit, part of the Livingstone Project, holds an inferred resource of 1.68 million tonnes at 1.35 grams per tonne gold, totaling 73,000 ounces. WesternX owns 75% of the joint venture, with Trillbar Resources holding the remaining 25%.

The Kingsley deposit is one of three within the Livingstone Project, which has a combined resource of 2.81 million tonnes at 1.36 g/t gold, equating to 122,500 ounces. Approximately 70% of this resource is classified as inferred, with the remainder indicated. Mineralisation at Kingsley is shallow, spanning 900 meters and extending to at least 120 meters below ground.

Previous metallurgical test work reported an average gold recovery rate of 93.8%. The proposed extraction method involves conventional open-cut operations, including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling.
