Despite the delay, Power Metallic said exploration activities continue at its project, with five drill rigs currently operating. The company expects to begin releasing assay results from its summer drilling program in September, with additional results expected throughout the fall. Power Metallic also said it expects results from the Squid survey and early findings from the Muon geophysical program to be incorporated into its fall exploration program following the Moose Break, which runs from September 15 to October 15, 2026.
On the corporate front, the company said it continues to advance its application for a Nasdaq listing after shareholders approved updates to certain charter documents at its annual general meeting on June 30. Separately, Power Metallic announced it has granted 11.3 million incentive stock options to directors, officers and consultants under its stock option plan. The options have an exercise price of C$1.25 per common share and terms ranging from two to five years, depending on the individual grant.
