US President Donald Trump vows to hit Iran hard
US President Donald Trump said he will order heavy strikes on Iran in retaliation for its surprise attack on US forces.
The US and Saudi Arabia also struck Iran-backed militants in Iraq after Riyadh said it intercepted drones launched by Iraqi groups that were targeting its oil facilities.
Crude oil prices attract some buyers following these headlines. At the time of writing, the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is up 6.17% on the day at $83.20.
