Meta Platforms is poised to report second-quarter revenue of $60.6 billion and earnings per share of $7.50, surpassing consensus estimates of $60.2 billion and $7.18. The expected beat is attributed to robust advertising growth and cost efficiencies from recent workforce reductions.

For Q3, Meta is anticipated to guide revenue between $60.5 billion and $63.5 billion, reflecting 18% to 24% year-over-year growth. Analysts also expect the company to adjust its expense guidance downward by $1 billion to $2 billion while raising capital expenditure projections to $135 billion-$150 billion due to higher memory costs.

Investor focus will center on Meta’s AI initiatives, including advertising improvements and potential external compute sales, amid broader scrutiny of Big Tech’s AI spending. Bank of America raised its 2027 revenue estimate to $316 billion, citing potential AI capacity benefits.
