Wall Street expects SBUX to report $0.56 adjusted EPS and $9.2 billion revenue, driven by 5.7% global same-store sales growth.
Starbucks is set to report third-quarter earnings with adjusted earnings per share of $0.56, up from $0.50 a year ago. Revenue is expected to reach $9.2 billion, slightly below last year’s $9.5 billion due to its China business transition to a joint venture.
Global same-store sales are projected to grow 5.7%, nearly matching the 6.2% increase in Q2. North America sales are anticipated to rise 6%, fueled by new menu items and higher average check sizes. Last year’s Q3 saw a 2% decline in same-store sales.
Analysts highlight sustained positive traffic trends of 2% to 3%, supported by pricing increases and innovation, including a $2 billion Refreshers revamp and new summer beverages.
