DCG’s Fortitude Launches 12 MW Zcash Mine, Targets 43% Lower Mining Costs DCG-owned Zcash miner Fortitude has launched a 12 MW mining facility in Nebraska, its first self-built site, bringing its total power capacity across seven locations to more than 60 MW.
The company expects the facility’s electricity cost of about $0.045 per kWh and next-generation mining equipment to reduce its direct cash mining cost per ZEC from roughly $70 to $40
Fortitude is also pursuing a merger with Nasdaq-listed HeartSciences to become publicly traded. — link
