Core Scientific (NASDAQ: $CORZ) announced a 15-year partnership with Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: $AMD) to supply 529 megawatts of AI data center capacity, potentially generating over $14 billion in revenue. The deal includes AMD leasing compute power at Core Scientific’s Texas and Oklahoma facilities starting in 2027.
The agreement lifts Core Scientific’s leased customer capacity to 1.1 gigawatts, equating to $24 billion in potential revenue. AMD also received warrants to purchase 30 million $CORZ shares at $23.47 each, while $CORZ currently trades at $20.74. Core Scientific, a former Bitcoin miner, holds 848 BTC worth $49.7 million.
$CORZ stock has risen 50% over the past year, while $AMD shares surged 185% to $494.95. The deal accelerates Core Scientific’s shift away from cryptocurrency mining toward AI infrastructure.
