Porsche will eliminate 9,000 positions by 2035, adding 5,000 cuts to its existing reduction plan. The company aims to achieve this without forced dismissals, relying on natural turnover, retirement schemes, and voluntary severance instead.

The latest round follows earlier reductions of 3,900 roles in 2025 and 500 cuts announced in May. The agreement includes job guarantees at its Zuffenhausen and Weissach sites until 2035, alongside a €2.1bn investment commitment.

To fund the investment, Porsche will defer 3.5% of collectively bargained pay rises until 2035 and reduce management pay increases in 2027.
