Essentra reported a 9% increase in first-half revenue to £166 million, driven by balanced volume growth and pricing actions. Adjusted operating profit climbed 9.7% to £18.1 million, while margin improved modestly to 10.9%.
The components manufacturer saw broad-based growth, with Europe up 8.9%, the Americas 5.7%, and Asia-Pacific 8.2%. Adjusted earnings per share rose to 4.3 pence, aided by a lower tax rate and a £1.7 million credit from discontinued operations.
Management maintained full-year guidance and set a new 2028 adjusted operating margin target of 14%, retaining an 18% long-term ambition.
