Man Group reported record assets under management of $253.6 billion at the end of June, up $26 billion from December. The increase was fueled by $19.8 billion in investment performance and $7.1 billion in net client inflows across all product categories.

The firm’s liquid alternatives strategies delivered mixed results, with its 1783 multi-strategy fund returning 7.9% and AHL Alpha gaining 7.1%, while AHL Evolution declined 3.7%. Long-only strategies outperformed benchmarks, including Numeric Emerging Markets Core, which beat its benchmark by 4.8% annually over three years.

CEO Robyn Grew attributed the growth to diversification efforts amid geopolitical uncertainty and concentrated equity returns tied to artificial intelligence. The firm’s asset-weighted performance exceeded peer strategies by 0.4% on average.
