U.S. stock futures advanced early Monday as the Trump administration paused plans for further strikes against Iran, easing geopolitical risks. Dow Jones futures climbed 540 points, or 1%, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures rose 0.8% and 1.3%, respectively.

Brent crude futures fell more than 5% to a range of $86–$90 a barrel, and West Texas Intermediate dropped 6% to around $84. The pullback followed reports that the U.S. had stepped back from escalation to allow diplomacy, though regional tensions persisted after Ukraine targeted an Iranian ship.

Markets now turn to Wednesday’s Federal Reserve meeting, where a 25 basis point rate hike remains a possibility amid heightened uncertainty.
