European indexes climb as US-Iran tensions ease
European stocks rose as a pause in US-Iran tensions lifted sentiment. The UKX index gained 0.54% and the DAX rose 1.36%.
The annual growth rate of lending to Swedish households increased to 3.2% in June. Finland’s manufacturing confidence indicator also rose in July.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 index was also higher, driven by gains in major European markets.
