Jet fuel costs soar as Middle East tensions rise
US airlines are dealing with increasing jet fuel costs due to rising Brent crude oil prices past $100 per barrel.
The US jet fuel market has been tightening since March, although there haven’t been concerns about shortages in America.
Europe had previously been at risk of running out of stockpiles within six weeks in April, but did not experience shortages, and the global markets have been tightening.
