Samsung will add native stablecoin support to its wallet, targeting 75 million U.S. Galaxy users amid a $310 billion global stablecoin market.
Samsung announced plans to integrate native stablecoin support into Samsung Wallet at its Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22. The move includes Circle’s USDC, the second-largest stablecoin by market cap, though no launch date or blockchain details were disclosed.
The integration builds on Samsung’s prior crypto efforts, including a 2019 Knox-based wallet, 2021 hardware wallet support, and an October 2025 Coinbase partnership reaching 75 million U.S. Galaxy owners. The global stablecoin supply currently stands near $310 billion under the GENIUS Act.
Samsung aims to position stablecoins alongside traditional payment methods like boarding passes and credit cards. The company did not specify which issuers or blockchains would be supported.
