Booz Allen Hamilton reports Q1 adjusted earnings above estimates and reaffirms full-year outlook despite revenue decline.

Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) shares surged nearly 15% in early trading after posting first-quarter adjusted earnings that exceeded expectations. Net income fell to $198M, or $1.63 per share, from $271M, or $2.16 per share, in the same period last year.

Revenue declined 4.2% year-over-year, reflecting softer demand in certain segments. The company maintained its full-year earnings and revenue guidance, signaling confidence in its outlook despite the drop in top-line performance.

The stock’s rally reflects investor relief over the earnings beat and steady guidance amid broader market volatility.
