Bitcoin (BTC) slipped below $65,000 on Thursday, hitting three-day lows of $64,799 as escalating US-Iran tensions drove risk assets lower. The decline coincided with a surge in oil prices to $100 a barrel and rising US bond yields, fueling inflation concerns and Fed rate-hike expectations near 40% for July.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed down 1.2% and 2.2%, respectively, while Brent crude reached its highest level since early June. Traders cited a 21-day moving average as key support for BTC, though near-term price forecasts remained divided amid geopolitical uncertainty.

Market sentiment soured after US warnings over Iran-backed Houthi attacks on commercial vessels, adding to broader risk-off sentiment. Rising inflation expectations and interest rates further pressured crypto and equity markets.
