Prologis submits a final all-stock proposal valuing Segro at approximately $18.8 billion after an earlier £12.6 billion bid was rejected.
Prologis has submitted its ‘best and final’ offer to acquire UK-based industrial property firm Segro for about $18.8 billion in an all-stock deal. The proposal marks an increase from Prologis’s prior unsolicited bid of £12.6 billion, or $16.6 billion, which Segro’s board rejected outright in June.
The revised offer reflects Prologis’s continued pursuit of Segro, one of Europe’s largest logistics real estate companies. Segro’s portfolio includes warehouses and industrial spaces across the UK and Europe, aligning with Prologis’s focus on supply chain and e-commerce infrastructure.
No immediate market reaction was disclosed following the announcement of the revised bid.
