Compagnie Léa Nature expands in western Europe with the purchase of a Barcelona-based organic tortilla producer generating €3.5m in annual revenue.

Compagnie Léa Nature has acquired Nagual Alimentación, a Spanish manufacturer of tortillas and wraps, through its subsidiary Biocop Productos Biológicos. The deal, which includes 100% of Nagual’s share capital, aims to bolster the French group’s presence in western Europe’s organic food sector but financial terms were not disclosed.

Nagual Alimentación, founded in 2003, produces approximately 20 million tortillas annually and reported €3.5m in revenue last year. About 30% of its output is certified organic, and its products are gluten-free and vegan-friendly. Compagnie Léa Nature, which employs 2,000 people and operates 20 production sites in France, posted €525m in revenue for 2025.

The acquisition is described as a strategic move to strengthen the group’s position in natural and organic products, particularly in foodservice, which accounts for nearly 40% of Nagual’s activity.
