The US dollar remains nearly unchanged against major currencies, with EURUSD, USDJPY, and GBPUSD all trading within 0.15% of prior levels. USDJPY briefly dipped to 162.80 before rebounding above 163.00, extending its 40-year high reached yesterday at 163.238.

EURUSD stays below key moving averages at 1.14255, while GBPUSD struggles near 1.3395 after falling below its 100- and 200-day averages. US stock futures point to a weaker open, with Nasdaq futures leading declines.

Tech stocks face pressure in premarket trading, led by GE Vernova’s 6.56% drop after missing earnings estimates despite revenue beats. Intel, AMD, and other chip stocks follow, with Intel down 3.19% ahead of its post-market earnings report.
