SpaceX will hold its first earnings call as a public company on Aug. 4, with shares down 40% from their June 16 peak.
SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX) will release second-quarter earnings on Aug. 4, marking its first earnings call since its June 12 IPO. The company’s stock has declined 40% from its intraday high of $225.64 on June 16, trading near its lowest point since going public.
The call will be Elon Musk’s first as CEO of a non-Tesla public company, raising investor interest in its format and transparency. SpaceX has dominated global orbital launches, accounting for over 80% of mass put into orbit in 2023, primarily through its Starlink network.
Investors will scrutinize supplemental materials and disclosures, including whether details are buried in SEC filings rather than earnings releases.
