Crude oil futures settled at $84.91, up $1.68 or 2.02% on the day, marking a sixth gain in seven sessions. The rally extends a 25.48% surge from the July 2 cycle low of $67.04.

Gasoline prices followed, with the national average rising to $4.02 per gallon from a July 7 low of $3.78. Prices remain below the $4.02 peak but above pre-tension levels, including $2.98 on February 27, 2026, and $3.11 on January 20, 2025.

The move reflects ongoing supply concerns tied to Middle East geopolitical risks, though no immediate market reaction was detailed.
