The bank reported its sixth consecutive quarter of record earnings, driven by organic loan and deposit growth.
Wintrust Financial reported second-quarter net income of $233.7 million, marking its sixth straight record quarter. The results were fueled by broad-based organic growth, with loans rising $1.6 billion and deposits increasing $2.2 billion.
Net income climbed from $227 million in the prior quarter and $461 million year-to-date, up 20% from the same period last year. The bank’s net interest margin remained stable at 3.52%, while credit quality improved with lower non-performing loans and charge-offs.
Management attributed the performance to disciplined growth strategies and investments in digital banking, wealth management, and branch expansion. The company continues to gain market share across lending segments.
