The critical mineral refiner adds staff across operations and engineering ahead of Marion campus commissioning and capacity expansion.
ReElement Technologies, a subsidiary of American Resources Corp (NASDAQ:AREC), has hired 13 professionals to support the commissioning and scaling of its rare earth and critical mineral refining platform in Marion, Indiana. The new employees cover plant operations, engineering, maintenance, laboratory sciences, finance, and process optimization, aligning with commercial customer demand for domestic refining capacity.
The company previously operated with a smaller team focused on pilot-scale production. The expansion follows growing demand for secure, U.S.-sourced critical minerals, driven by defense and clean energy sectors. ReElement aims to commission its Marion campus and scale production in the coming months.
Among the hires are industry veterans with decades of experience in industrial systems, maintenance, and engineering. The additions include a maintenance manager with 30 years of experience and an industrial engineer with expertise in process improvement.
