Contract aims to boost output to 150,000 bopd and 300 million scf/d of gas in first five years, supporting Iraq’s energy security.
Halliburton won a contract from Basra Oil Company to provide integrated field management services for Iraq’s Bin Umar and Sindbad fields. The deal includes digital solutions, engineering, and production optimization to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
The project targets 150,000 barrels of oil per day and 300 million standard cubic feet of associated gas daily within five years. It aligns with Iraq’s goal to reduce gas imports and strengthen domestic energy supply.
Halliburton will deploy its Landmark portfolio to create a digital framework linking subsurface insights, well delivery, and production operations.
