Allianz Partners will cut 1,500 to 1,800 roles across several European countries as it accelerates AI adoption. The reductions will be implemented through severance packages, early retirement, and voluntary arrangements, according to the company’s CEO.

A Q4 2025 GlobalData poll found 48.6% of respondents expect automation to replace over 25% of their workforce, with 25.2% anticipating cuts exceeding 50%. However, 44.8% of respondents expressed no concern about job displacement from automation.

The move reflects broader trends in the insurance sector, where AI is automating claims, customer service, underwriting, and fraud detection to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
