Venture Global surges 12.7 percent as natural gas and crude benchmarks climb on Middle East supply concerns.

Venture Global shares jumped 12.7 percent week-on-week as investors shifted into energy stocks amid rising oil and gas prices. August Henry Hub natural gas futures rose 1.85 percent to $2.91, driven by fears of tighter global supplies due to geopolitical tensions.

Brent crude climbed 4.59 percent to $88.10, while West Texas Intermediate increased 4.48 percent to $82.49, both reaching one-month highs. The rally followed reports of renewed U.S.-Iran hostilities, including a missile attack on Kuwait’s infrastructure and the reinstatement of a blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran, which controls a chokepoint for 20 percent of global crude oil, denied violating ceasefire terms, escalating concerns over supply disruptions. The conflict has heightened market sensitivity to energy sector volatility.
