Cathie Wood’s funds trimmed holdings in TWST after a 190% year-to-date gain, while maintaining large positions in the stock.

Ark Investment Management sold $11.2 million worth of Twist Bioscience (TWST) shares on June 30, reducing its stake in the synthetic DNA manufacturer. The sale involved over 114,000 shares across Ark Innovation ETF and Ark Genomic Revolution ETF, following prior sales earlier in June.

Despite the reduction, Ark’s funds still hold significant positions in TWST, with the Ark Genomic Revolution ETF owning over $121 million and Ark Innovation ETF holding more than $211 million. Twist Bioscience stock has surged 120% over the last six months and 190% year-to-date, prompting speculation that Ark may be rebalancing or taking profits.

The funds also purchased $3.9 million in Circle Internet Financial shares on the same day, signaling potential portfolio adjustments rather than a loss of confidence in TWST.
