Abbott Laboratories raised full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $5.45-$5.60 after Q2 earnings topped estimates.

Abbott Laboratories shares climbed nearly 11% after reporting second-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $1.31, surpassing the $1.28 estimate. Revenue reached $12.59 billion, above the $12.52 billion consensus and up 13% year-over-year on a reported basis.

The company raised its full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $5.45-$5.60 from $5.38-$5.58, while reaffirming comparable sales growth of 6.5%-7.5%. Second-quarter comparable sales rose 4.8%, excluding foreign exchange impacts. Abbott also projected Q3 adjusted EPS of $1.38-$1.46.

CEO Robert Ford noted momentum in the business, expecting accelerating sales and earnings growth in the second half of 2026. The company highlighted progress in its medical device and diagnostics segments, including trial enrollment for its Coronary Intravascular Lithotripsy System.
