Kosmos Energy reports Q2 2026 Jubilee field output at 72,000 bopd, with exit rates exceeding 85,000 bopd after new well additions.
Kosmos Energy Ltd. (NYSE:KOS) announced robust production growth in Q2 2026, with its Jubilee field in Ghana averaging 72,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and exiting the quarter above 85,000 bopd. The company attributed the increase to the successful completion of the J76 well, which added ~20,000 bopd to gross production.
The next well, J77, is already completed and expected to push Jubilee output to ~90,000 bopd imminently. In Mauritania and Senegal, the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim LNG project lifted 9 LNG cargos in Q2, alongside a condensate cargo. Progress continues on the Tiberius project in the Gulf of Mexico, with farm-down completion anticipated in Q3.
Kosmos Energy remains focused on deepwater exploration and production, targeting undervalued assets under $5 per share.
