Panera is ending unlimited refills for its $14.99 monthly Sip Club subscription, capping usage at 30 refills per month starting August 19. The price remains unchanged, but the move restricts a perk that previously allowed unrestricted coffee and drink refills.
The Unlimited Sip Club launched in 2022 to drive foot traffic, offering value for frequent customers. Panera estimates members will still save about $100 monthly if they use all 30 refills. The program previously faced changes, including the removal of Charged Lemonades after health-related controversies.
The shift is part of a broader overhaul of Panera’s loyalty strategy, though details remain limited.
