The automaker targets 60 new models and cost cuts by 2030 after a three-year 70% share price drop.
Stellantis announced a $70 billion turnaround strategy, “FaSTLAne 2030,” aiming to revive its stock after a 70% decline over three years. The plan focuses on launching 60 new vehicles and directing 70% of product investment into four core brands: Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, and Fiat.
The automaker’s shares have underperformed due to global challenges and a lack of clear identity. The strategy includes scaling back electric vehicle investments and prioritizing cost reductions. Stellantis reported a 10% year-over-year increase in global shipments to 1.6 million in Q2 2026, driven by a 38% surge in North America.
However, North American sales grew only 5.7% in the same period, highlighting a gap between shipments and consumer demand that could pressure margins.
