Semiconductor equipment maker ASML raised its 2026 revenue outlook to €43-45 billion after strong Q2 results driven by AI demand.

ASML reported second-quarter revenue of €9.33 billion, surpassing analyst estimates of €8.8 billion. Net income reached €2.92 billion, with earnings per share at €7.59, both above consensus forecasts. The company cited higher Installed Base Management sales for its 54% gross margin, exceeding guidance.

For Q3, ASML forecast revenue of €11-12 billion, above the €10.37 billion consensus. The company also raised its 2026 revenue outlook to €43-45 billion from €36-40 billion, topping Wall Street’s €39.4 billion estimate. Gross margin guidance for 2026 was set at 54-56%.

CEO Christophe Fouquet attributed demand to artificial intelligence, noting accelerated capacity expansion plans by customers. Shares rose about 3% at the open following the announcement.
