Morgan Stanley raised its quarterly dividend by 15% to $1.15 per share, up from $1.00 previously. The move marks the bank’s first dividend increase in two years and lifts the forward yield to 2.02%.

The last dividend hike was announced in July 2022, when the payout rose from $0.70 to $1.00. Analysts had anticipated a modest increase, though consensus estimates were not publicly disclosed. The new dividend is payable on August 14 to shareholders of record as of July 31.

The announcement follows a period of stable earnings and capital generation, supporting the bank’s ability to return more cash to investors.
