Coinbase announces Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal’s resignation, with Molly Abraham set to take over as General Counsel and Secretary.
Coinbase Global Inc. (NASDAQ:COIN) said Paul Grewal will step down as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary effective July 31, 2026. The company plans to appoint Molly Abraham, currently Vice President of Legal, as his successor in both roles.
Grewal will transition to an advisory role from August 1 to October 31 under a new agreement. He will receive a lump-sum payment equal to three months of base salary after the advisory period and continued vesting of restricted stock units scheduled for August 20.
Analysts reacted with mixed price target adjustments ahead of the announcement. Citizens lowered its target to $325 from $355 while maintaining an Outperform rating, while US Tiger upgraded the stock to Buy with a $200 target, citing improved Bitcoin cycle risk-reward.
