Pfizer’s $3.83 billion oncology franchise grows 9% year-over-year, outpacing Amgen’s declining legacy drugs under Medicare pricing.
Pfizer’s oncology unit generated $3.83 billion in Q1 2026, up 9% year-over-year, driven by Seagen integration. Padcev led growth at $591 million, a 39% increase, while Lorbrena and Orgovyx rose 37% and 43%, respectively.
Amgen’s results showed a split performance. IMDELLTRA surged 219% to $258 million, and UPLIZNA climbed 188%, but Prolia fell 34% to $727 million and Enbrel dropped 37% under Medicare Part D pricing. CEO Robert Bradway cited 16 brands with double-digit growth, though legacy declines tightened guidance.
