A new survey from research firm Verasight (1) found that 69% of Americans support requiring the country’s largest AI companies to transfer 50% of their stock into a public sovereign wealth fund. Rather than paying a one-time tax in cash, the country’s largest AI companies would contribute shares to a public investment fund, giving Americans a direct stake in the industry’s future growth.
