SK Hynix began trading on the Nasdaq last Friday after raising $26.5 billion, marking one of the largest capital raises by a South Korean semiconductor firm. The company’s high-bandwidth memory chips are critical for artificial intelligence applications, driving investor interest.
The stock is now a top holding in major international ETFs, including the State Street SPDR Portfolio Developed World ex-US ETF, where it accounts for 2.38% of assets. The fund, with $40 billion under management, has posted a 28.32% return over the past year.
