The UK government has selected Dame Jayne-Anne Gadhia as its preferred candidate to chair the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) for a four-year term. The FRC oversees auditors, accountants, and actuaries while setting the UK’s Corporate Governance and Stewardship Codes, aiming to enhance transparency and investor confidence in business reporting and risk management.
