NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) remains a top holding in D.E. Shaw’s 2026 portfolio, despite a modest 9.6% year-to-date gain. Shares currently trade around $207, following Bank of America’s reiteration of a Buy rating and a $350 price target on July 8th.
The AI GPU leader continues to dominate the sector, with SpaceX recently revealing its Grok 4.5 model was trained on tens of thousands of NVIDIA chips. Despite competition from Google and Amazon’s custom AI chips, NVIDIA’s performance leadership persists. The company’s GR00T platform also advanced in robotics through a collaboration with Hugging Face.
Antipodes Global Strategy noted in its Q1 2026 investor letter that NVIDIA trades at a 2027 multiple of 13x, reflecting structural demand for its AI infrastructure despite near-term market uncertainty.
