KSPI gains approval to acquire Rabobank A.Ş., targeting expansion into Türkiye’s digital economy by mid-2026.
Kaspi.kz (NASDAQ:KSPI) received regulatory approval from Türkiye’s Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency to acquire Rabobank A.Ş., a fully licensed bank. The deal is expected to close in July 2026, pending standard conditions.
The acquisition aligns with Kaspi.kz’s strategy to expand its payments, marketplace, and fintech services into Türkiye’s growing digital economy. The company plans to introduce its digital solutions to local consumers and merchants post-transaction.
CEO Mikheil Lomtadze called the approval a key milestone for Kaspi.kz’s development in Türkiye. The move follows the company’s focus on leveraging its fintech expertise in new markets.
