The steelmaker completed a €49.32-per-share buyback of 10 million shares and launched a new tranche for up to 10 million more.
ArcelorMittal repurchased 10 million shares at an average price of €49.32 under its 2025-2030 buyback program. The shares, now held in treasury, will be canceled later.
The company immediately authorized a second tranche for up to 10 million additional shares, following shareholder approval in May 2025. Repurchases will continue through May 2030, subject to market conditions and free cash flow.
The program aims to reduce share capital while funding employee share schemes.
