The US Air Force adopts Salesforce’s Missionforce platform to unify logistics for its $13.5 billion vehicle fleet across 389 locations.
Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) secured a $13.5 billion contract to modernize the US Air Force’s vehicle fleet logistics. The 441st Vehicle Support Chain Operations Squadron will use Missionforce National Security to replace outdated ERP systems, integrating data for 84,000 vehicles across nearly 389 sites.
The platform consolidates fragmented logistics into a single digital backbone, improving operational visibility and reducing downtime. It leverages Salesforce Government Cloud Plus Defense, an IL5-authorized environment, to enhance global mission readiness and command control.
The implementation enables real-time data integration, predictive analytics, and future AI-driven automation for maintenance and budgeting. The move positions the Air Force to optimize asset management and accelerate contingency planning.
