The lithium exploration firm appoints Mark Carruthers as CEO, replacing Mark Ireton, and issues stock options to his consulting firm.
Medaro Mining (MEDAF) named Mark Carruthers as president and CEO, effective immediately. Carruthers succeeds Mark Ireton, who remains on the company’s board but steps down from the top role.
The appointment includes equity incentives: Medaro granted Inside Capital Corp., a consulting firm controlled by Carruthers, 300,000 stock options and 500,000 restricted share rights. Carruthers will oversee strategic direction, corporate development, and capital markets initiatives.
Medaro focuses on lithium exploration and development, a sector driven by demand for battery materials. The leadership change follows recent executive transitions in the mining industry.
