US stock indices closed higher on broad-based gains, led by the Nasdaq Composite, which rose 1.30% to 26,206.89. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.81% and 0.27%, respectively, while the Russell 2000 climbed 1.22%.

Information technology and consumer discretionary sectors outperformed, gaining 1.61% and 1.46%. Declining sectors included consumer staples and energy, which fell 1.75% and 1.58%. Top performers included Arm Holdings (ARM) and SanDisk (SNDK), rising 9.27% and 7.59%.

The rally reflected strong investor appetite for growth-oriented stocks, particularly in semiconductors and software. Market breadth was positive, with advancers outpacing decliners across major indices.
