Bitdeer announces a Nevada facility to produce SEALMINER Bitcoin mining machines, boosting US production capacity.
Bitdeer Technologies Group shares rose 14.1% to $14.33 after announcing a $36 million manufacturing plant in Nevada. The facility will produce the company’s SEALMINER Bitcoin mining machines, reducing reliance on third-party suppliers.
The stock remains 27% below its June peak but has gained 26% year-to-date. Commercial production at the Sparks, Nevada, plant is expected to begin by year-end, expanding Bitdeer’s US hardware operations.
The company secured tax incentives, including reduced sales taxes, through collaboration with Nevada state and local authorities. The move aligns with broader industry trends as mining firms diversify into AI and high-performance computing.
