Amazon Web Services (AWS) has named NiCE, a leader in AI-powered customer experience, as a launch partner for its new European Sovereign Cloud region. The initiative aims to offer EU-based businesses in regulated industries access to advanced AI tools while ensuring data remains within European borders.
The collaboration targets sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and the public sector, where strict data sovereignty rules apply. NiCE will deploy its CXone platform, including AI agents, workflow automation, and analytics, within the sovereign cloud environment.
NiCE’s Chief Partner Officer stated the partnership enables Europe’s most regulated organizations to adopt AI without compromising security or compliance. The move aligns with growing demand for localized cloud solutions amid tightening EU data regulations.
