Levi Strauss & Co reported second-quarter adjusted earnings of $0.28 per share, surpassing analysts’ estimates of $0.24. Revenue climbed 8% year over year to $1.56 billion, above the $1.52 billion consensus. Organic net revenue rose 6%, while adjusted EBIT margin expanded 70 basis points to 9.0%.
The company’s direct-to-consumer revenue grew 11%, with e-commerce sales up 19%, accounting for 51% of total net revenue. Wholesale revenue increased 5%. Regional performance showed 9% growth in the Americas, 4% in Europe, and 10% in Asia. Beyond Yoga revenue rose 16%.
Levi Strauss raised its full-year revenue and earnings guidance and increased its quarterly dividend. CEO Michelle Gass cited strong consumer traction and early-stage growth potential.
