Dangote plans to increase refinery capacity to 1.45 million b/d
Dangote’s Lekki refinery has been operating at full capacity, exporting products to Europe and overtaking traditional suppliers.
The refinery’s rise has reshaped the West African fuel trade, with imports of clean products from outside the region falling by almost 25% year-on-year.
The group plans to add another crude distillation unit to lift total capacity and build a new facility.
