GitLab launches new AI-powered features to accelerate software delivery and reduce operational costs for enterprises.
GitLab Inc. (NASDAQ:GTLB) introduced enterprise-scale AI workflow tools on June 10, 2026, targeting operational bottlenecks and compliance risks. The updates include Next Generation Source Code Management, which speeds task execution by 50x while reducing token consumption.
The rollout also features GitLab Orbit, a unified context graph to minimize AI hallucinations, and Governance for Agents, offering AI auditing and compliance controls. GitLab Flex consolidates platform seats and credits into a single annual contract.
Separately, GitLab expanded its partnership with Google Cloud (GOOG) to launch a managed DevSecOps platform, building on an April agreement to support enterprise transitions.
