Eli Lilly’s obesity drug portfolio, led by Mounjaro and Zepbound, has driven a 160% stock surge over the past three years. The company’s recent launch of Foundayo, its first oral obesity treatment, expands accessibility and market potential as demand for weight-loss drugs accelerates.

The obesity drug market is projected to grow tenfold, from $15 billion this year to $150 billion by 2035, according to Morgan Stanley. Eli Lilly’s pipeline, including the late-stage subcutaneous drug Retatrutide, positions it to maintain leadership in a sector shifting toward both injectable and oral therapies.

Investor interest remains high as the company capitalizes on the expanding addressable market, with oral treatments expected to broaden adoption among patients averse to injections.
